Visual Studio App Center: Device Registration and Re signing

Signing your iOS app with ad-hoc profiles makes it easy to deploy your latest build. But registering devices in the Apple Developer portal and keeping the profile up to date is cumbersome. Through App Center, provision tester devices in a distribution group, enabling a seamless release all testers can install when updates are available. This video demonstrates how to register devices, and re-sign apps for deployment to a distribution group?.

Read more about this at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/appcenter/distribution/auto-provisioning. Read how to make registration automatic: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/appcenter/distribution/groups#automatically-manage-devices.

Visual Studio App Center: Build to Stores

Visual Studio App Center can automatically publish builds to a Store connection like TestFlight or Google Play Store. When working on a new feature, ensuring that the latest build is available to stakeholders and testers can be cumbersome. Instead of doing it manually, if you setup your feature branch in App Center Build to publish successful builds, stakeholders will always be up-to-date on the latest release.

Start by setting up a store connection, then navigate to branch settings in Build. In the Distribution section, choose the appropriate destination for your app.

Read how to distribute builds to store on our docs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/appcenter/build/build-to-store.
