This is a built-in Internet search that can be used by clicking on the magnifying glass icon, which will appear next to messages sent by five or more users.

Using the magnifying glass icon, users will be able to quickly check the reliability of a fact by reviewing the related information found on the Internet. The new feature is designed to combat the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories. For example, having received a message about some means that can effectively fight the coronavirus, the user can easily verify the reliability of this statement by contacting trusted sources.

Efforts by Facebook, the owner of WhatsApp, to control the spread of false information have been complicated by end-to-end encryption that prevents users from viewing messages. The new function will help users of the popular messenger to independently verify the accuracy of information that comes in forwarded messages. The developers note that any information selected for verification is sent directly to the browser, so Facebook does not get access to it.

WhatsApp is currently available for Android and iOS users in the US, UK, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Brazil and Mexico. When this function will become available to users in other countries, it is not yet known.

The author of the YouTube channel ObsidianAnt participates in closed testing of Microsoft Flight Simulator, which started on July 30. He recently posted a fresh video dedicated to the upcoming game Asobo Studio and Xbox Game Studios. In it, the blogger explored the exclusion zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from a bird’s eye view. The video demonstrates that the territory of Pripyat and the nuclear power plant itself in the project do not quite correspond to reality.

The exclusion zone in Microsoft Flight Simulator is covered by significant areas of forest. The buildings that are found on its territory are different from the real ones: there are no abandoned and dilapidated buildings, as they would have to be worked out manually, and the world in the game was recreated using Bing maps. It is curious that in the case of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the area around it, old satellite images were used: ObsidianAnt determined this by the absence of a new sarcophagus.

The blogger’s last interesting find was a lonely car moving at a decent speed. He just drives along the road in the town of Pripyat.

Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on August 18, 2020 on PC, and later on Xbox One. The release date of the console version is still unknown, but Asobo Studio remembers it.

Microsoft has unveiled a new digital Microsoft Store on Xbox. It has been completely redesigned to be faster, safer and easier to use than before. Store testing will begin on August 5.

The new Microsoft Store is twice as fast as the previous one. It launches in less than two seconds, and its overall performance has also improved: pages load much faster. The store has been designed so that you can find everything in an intuitively simple way: from sales, add-ons and subscriptions to the desired movie and trailer. Such systems do not have a serious margin of safety (for the next 2-3 years), they are replete with compromises, they need an upgrade, but they also cost less than other configurations.

The 4-core processors Ryzen 3 3100 (9,000 rubles) and Ryzen 3 3300X (10,500 rubles) have finally appeared on sale. In August, Ryzen 5 1600 (YD1600BBM6IAF) and Ryzen 5 2600 (YD2600BBM6IAF) ask for 9,000 and 9,500 rubles, taking into account a slight rounding. So which chip for the AM4 platform should you take in the starting assembly?

Firstly, I specially cited markings for 6-core Zen. The fact is that the AF version of the Ryzen 5 1600 is, in fact, a copy of the Ryzen 5 2600. Therefore, you need to take a “stone” that simply costs less. Secondly, at the same price as Ryzen 3 3100, I still choose Ryzen 5 1600. Open the article “Review of Ryzen 3 3300X and Ryzen 3 3100 processors: like Core i7-7700K, only cheap” and see that in resource-intensive applications a quad-core Zen 2 is on par with the 6-core Zen + chips. In games in Full HD resolution, using the very powerful graphics of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, we generally see a similar picture, but in Shadow of the Tomb Raider the Ryzen 5 1600 is ahead of the Ryzen 3 3100 by a significant 17%. In other 3D applications, the difference between these CPUs, if any, does not exceed 10 frames per second. I specifically draw your attention to the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti: it is obvious that when using a slower video card, the difference in performance between the chips will be even smaller, if at all. As a result, when choosing between Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 5 2600 and Ryzen 3 3100, I focus solely on the price. Yes, taking into account our reinsurance rounding, Ryzen 5 1600 and Ryzen 3 3100 cost the same, but the 6-core still turns out to be a little cheaper – let’s leave it.

Ryzen 3 3300X turns out to be a more interesting product, but I’ll talk about it a little later.

Unfortunately, over the past month, processors in the X-Com Shop have risen in price, some seriously. For example, the Core i3-9100F in the BOX configuration added as much as 1,000 rubles in price. Let me remind you that I leave the starting Intel assembly for only one purpose: it turns out to be much cheaper than the AMD system. Since we are talking about the most inexpensive category “Computer of the month”, such changes are suggestive. Let me remind you that both configurations demonstrate the same results in games.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to “transfer” to the LGA1200 platform without serious investments. The cheapest motherboard ASRock H410M-HVS costs 5,500 rubles, and for the junior 4-core Core i3-10100 you will have to pay another 10,500 rubles. Everything goes to the fact that the system units are cheaper than 50,000 rubles, assembled on the basis of the LGA1200 platform and using similar components, in the “Computer of the Month” we will not see for a very long time.

So it turns out that the starting assembly has not changed in the past. “C” – stability. I don’t know if it will be possible to keep this configuration in September. You can see for yourself that the same Radeon RX 570 8 GB costs an average of 14.5-15.5 thousand rubles. For the 4-gigabyte version, they ask not much less, however. If prices continue to rise, then, most likely, you will have to look towards the “regular” GeForce GTX 1650, which at the beginning of August can still be taken for 12,500 rubles. Our tests show that the NVIDIA adapter (with GDDR5 memory) outperforms the Radeon RX 570 by an average of 13%. In this case, you will have to change the assembly description, because such a system is suitable for games mainly at medium graphics quality settings.

The situation turns out to be a stalemate in many ways, if we continue the topic of saving components. Take the Intel assembly, and it turns out that there is nothing to save on here. We took the only sane Intel processor for the LGA1151-v2 platform, because the most affordable dual-core Pentium G5420, although it costs 5,000 rubles in the BOX configuration, is already poorly suited for modern games. In the article “Computer of the Month. Special issue: what can you save on when buying a cheap gaming PC in 2020 (and is it possible at all) “I noted that in the same Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, constant microloads of locations appeared – they did not” crash “FPS, but playing in such conditions turns out to be simple uncomfortable. And in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the transition between camps took a very long time – and this is also the fault of the central processor.

If we talk about the AM4 platform, then the Ryzen 3 1200 (4,500 rubles) has a slight advantage over the Pentium Gold G5400 – the chip has an unlocked multiplier, and the platform supports fast memory. Even with a boxed cooler and an inexpensive motherboard based on the B350 or B450 chipset, its frequency can be raised to 3.8-3.9 GHz – a serious increase for this particular model. Unfortunately, such overclocking does not solve the problem of lack of threads – in the same Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the difference between the Ryzen 5 1600 running in stock and the Ryzen 3 1200 overclocked to 3.9 GHz is 31% when using graphics of the level of the Radeon RX 570.

It will not be possible to save on other components – I already use the most inexpensive hardware, which nevertheless will ensure stable operation of both assemblies. Perhaps, only the search for components at all kinds of flea markets will make it possible to radically change the situation. Just do not forget that “Computer of the Month” is a section in which we study exclusively new products that have a guarantee.

The novelty of July – the 4-core Ryzen 3 3300X – costs 10,500 rubles at the beginning of August, which is 1,000 rubles less than Ikskom asks for the Ryzen 5 3500X. Do not confuse the Ryzen 3 3100 with the Ryzen 3 3300X, because, studying their characteristics, it may seem that these are almost the same chips (their frequency differs by only 5-10%, and everything else seems to be the same). In fact, the difference in performance between quad-core processors turns out to be quite significant. In resource-intensive applications, the older model is always noticeably faster – in some applications, the gap reaches an impressive 15%. In games (when using a powerful and processor-dependent GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card), the Ryzen 3 3100 lags behind the Ryzen 3 3300X in average frame rates by 14% on average, and in peak situations it exceeds all 20%. The reason for this marked superiority lies in the internal topology. The older model is based on one active quad-core CCX-complex, so it has minimal inter-core delays and a full-fledged L3 cache. Ryzen 3 3100 uses two CCX complexes with two cores each. The cache is presented in the form of two unconnected blocks of 8 MB each.

Comparing the Ryzen 3 3300X with the Ryzen 5 3500X, I note that these “stones” are approximately equal, and therefore it is worth putting a less expensive model in the assembly. So, in resource-intensive programs, in two cases out of nine, the 6-core is faster, and the difference sometimes reaches 9%. In the other two applications, the Ryzen 3 3300X turned out to be slightly faster – by 3 and 6%, respectively. In other cases, you can safely put an equal sign between these chips, since the difference in speed does not exceed two percent. A similar situation is observed in games, since in six out of eight applications the chips demonstrate very similar results – the difference in the minimum FPS does not exceed 2-3%. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the quad-core was faster – by 8%. But he lost 9% to the Ryzen 5 3500X in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.

At the same time, in the case of Ryzen 3 3300X, Ryzen 5 3500X and older versions of Ryzen 3000, I recommend taking representatives of the Zen 2 microarchitecture, although in the catalogs lines with Ryzen 5 2600X chips (10,500 rubles) and Ryzen 7 1700 (11,000 rubles) with more flows. In resource-intensive programs, the same Ryzen 3 3300X is generally inferior to them, but there is software in which the Zen 2 architecture looks preferable – Adobe products, for example. In games, stands with 4 and 6-core Matisse are consistently faster than the Ryzen 5 2600X and even the Ryzen 7 2700 (12,500 rubles). It is important here to decide on the tasks that your PC will perform. If the 8 Zen / Zen + cores execute them noticeably faster, then the choice becomes obvious. My recommendation for Ryzen 3 3300X, Ryzen 5 3500X and Ryzen 5 3600 is based on the most common scenario for home use of a computer – content consumption.

Back in June, the price difference between the Ryzen 5 3500X and the Ryzen 5 3600 was only 2,500 rubles, and I campaigned to take a 12-thread into the basic assembly. However, in August, they ask 15,000 rubles for it, and the 4-core Ryzen 3 3300X costs 4,500 rubles less. I consider this difference already serious, although the 6-core Ryzen 5 3600 and Core i5-10400 (F) are still considered the best options for mid-priced gaming assemblies. On the other hand, the Ryzen 3 3300X fully pumps out the proposed video cards, and over time you can replace this 4-core with something noticeably faster from the Zen 3 series of chips.

The Intel assembly is also configured with a bias for system upgrade, but with some reservations. There is a board based on the B460 chipset, which limits processor overclocking and also excludes the use of high-frequency RAM. We do not need processor overclocking, the chip does not have an unlocked multiplier. But the ability to use RAM with an effective frequency of 3000 MHz and higher would be very useful. However, we have to admit that switching from a B460 motherboard to a motherboard with an older Z490 Express chipset is too expensive. The table shows the models GIGABYTE B460M D3H and ASUS PRIME B460M-A – these are not the most affordable solutions for the LGA1200 platform (I really don’t want to take lower-quality motherboards even for a 4-core Core i3-10100, something similar will happen). Nevertheless, for a board of the GIGABYTE Z490 UD class, you will have to pay 13,500 rubles, and this is one of the most affordable devices in its class. And what do we get in the end? We get a system that is no better than an AMD build, but at the same time costs much more.

As a matter of fact, no one hides that the AM4 platform in the budget and mid-range price ranges looks much more preferable and profitable. And this will continue exactly until a large number of motherboards for an adequate price appear for the LGA1200. Only now will it appear?

Unfortunately, our site has not yet released a review of the Core i3-10100, but again we can refer to the Ryzen 3 3300X review. It compares the 4-core AMD with the Core i7-7700K, which is very similar in performance to the Core i3-10320. When all cores are loaded, the Core i3-10100 clocks in at 4.1 GHz, which is 300 MHz less than the Core i3-10320 and Core i7-7700K. And yet we can draw some analogies and comparisons. In resource-intensive applications, the Ryzen 3 3300X turns out to be noticeably faster in six cases out of nine, in two programs there is equality, and in one the victory was won by the Intel stone. In the games Core i7-7700K and Ryzen 3 3300X in most cases, equality is observed. It turns out that the Core i3-10100 will be even more inferior to the 4-core AMD, because in our processor tests we use the same memory kits, and in the basic assembly Intel has to save money (on the motherboard) and take DDR4-2666.

In July, our website released a comparative review of nine custom GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER models. In the article, I studied the features of the work of not only this version of the video card, but also compared four accelerators in a large number of games, the cost of which overlaps with each other. At the beginning of August in the X-Com Shop you can buy:

  • 9 models Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB at a price from 18 to 22 thousand rubles.
  • 25 models of GeForce GTX 1660 at a price from 17.5 to 23 thousand rubles.
  • 37 models of GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER at a price of 19.5 to 24.5 thousand rubles.
  • 8 models of GeForce GTX 1660 Ti at a price from 24.5 to 30 thousand rubles.

Everything has risen in price again, but I’m now interested in the speed of accelerators, and it turns out that the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is 3, 10 and 15% faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, GeForce GTX 1660 and Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB, respectively. With such a meager performance difference, we are not interested in this model. Apparently, the manufacturers also feel this, since the number of “tishek” sold has become noticeably less recently. Well, the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER from this trinity looks the most interesting of all. You just need to decide on the right models. For example, the most affordable custom Palit GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER StormX OC (19,500 rubles) is not worth buying – although the card does not heat up, it makes a lot of noise and its cooler clearly works to its limit. A good choice would be a model of the level of the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC – only for it you will need to pay about 20,500 rubles.

Let’s proceed as follows: in the table I will indicate both the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER and the Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB. It should be understood that both video cards do not have a serious margin of “strength”. Here, in fact, there is no bottleneck – the GPU and only 6 GB of video memory for the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER are equally bottlenecks. While testing NVIDIA video cards in DOOM Eternal, I simply could not set the graphics quality higher than the “Ultra” mode, and with the Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB I could, while getting excellent FPS. I have been declaring for a long time that the moment has come when accelerators with 6 GB of VRAM are suddenly outdated. A similar situation is observed in Red Dead Redemption 2, which does not allow to enable some additional graphics quality options when using 3D accelerators with 6 GB VRAM. But here and now, the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER turns out to be noticeably faster than the Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB, although it is more expensive. The final choice is yours.

The biggest challenge in an optimal build is choosing a base for an Intel system. It’s easy to decide on a chip: we take a Core i5-10400 or Core i5-10400F – depending on what is the difference in price between them, because the processors operate at the same frequencies (the F version just has a locked graphics core). The difficulty arises when choosing a motherboard. As we already found out, more or less tolerable motherboards suitable for 4- and 6-core Comet Lake cost in the region of 8-9 thousand rubles. Expensive, but inexpensive Z490-representatives will cost you 13-14 thousand rubles. На памяти особо не сэкономишь, ведь комплекты DDR4-2666 и DDR4-3000/3200 стоят примерно одинаково. Я уверен, что Core i5-10400F с не самой быстрой памятью будет хорошо работать в связке с графикой уровня Radeon RX 5700 или GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, но от оптимальной сборки ждешь возможности беспрепятственно модернизировать ее в будущем. Платформа LGA1200, напомню, в скором времени приютит чипы семейства Rocket Lake, которые получат долгожданную поддержку стандарта PCI Express 4.0 и еще более долгожданную микроархитектуру с кодовым именем «наконец-то не Skylake». Очевидно, что плата на Z490-чипсете при таких хотелках выглядит предпочтительнее любой поделки на базе младших наборов логики.

Вопрос заключается еще и в том, а нужен ли этот самый апгрейд, ведь многие пользователи собирают систему с нуля и пользуются ею до условно морального устаревания? Таким юзерам будет уже все равно и на Rocket Lake, и на PCI Express 4.0, и на DDR4-память, когда придет время менять систему целиком.

На момент написания этой статьи вовсю идет подготовка к проведению детального тестирования оптимальной сборки. Я сравню Core i5-10400F с Ryzen 5 3600. Посмотрю, связка с какой видеокартой выглядит интереснее. Конечно же, протестирую 6-ядерный Comet Lake с различными наборами оперативной памяти. В итоге я надеюсь получить исчерпывающие ответы на все интересующие нас с вами вопросы. А пока оставляю в сборке Intel плату на B460-чипсете и комплект памяти DDR4-2666.

Кстати, в комментариях к прошлому выпуску было высказано мнение, что в «Компьютере месяца» за исключением, пожалуй, максимальной сборки вообще не уделяется внимание чипам с разблокированным множителем. В частности, некоторые читатели предлагают в оптимальную сборку ставить Core i5-10600K(F) (26 000 рублей). При загрузке всех ядер он работает на частоте 4,5 ГГц — это на 500 МГц больше, чем у Core i5-10400(F). Прибавка отличная, но K-процессор все равно следует брать с прицелом под разгон, так как за 21 000 рублей можно взять модель Core i5-10600, которая работает на частоте 4,4 ГГц при загрузке всех ядер. К Core i5-10600K(F) обязательно требуется докупить материнку на Z490 Express (VRM плат класса MSI Z490-A PRO и ASUS Prime Z490-P, кстати, справляется даже с оверклокингом Core i9-10900K до 5,1 ГГц, если верить зарубежным коллегам) и отличный кулер или «водянку». И вот оптимальная сборка подорожала тысяч так на 20 рублей.

Подобные подсчеты я привел с одной целью — показать, что энтузиаст, которому нужен K-процессор, и без «Компьютера месяца» разберется с набором комплектующих, необходимых для его экспериментов.

В июле AMD, празднуя годовщину появления на свет микроархитектуры Zen 2 и настольных чипов Ryzen 3000, выпустила серию процессоров Matisse Refresh. Обзор моделей Ryzen 9 3900XT и Ryzen 7 3800XT уже вышел на нашем сайте, а знакомство с Ryzen 5 3600XT произойдет чуть позже. Про 8- и 12-ядерник я расскажу чуть позже, сейчас же поговорим про самый успешный «рефреш», за который, правда, просят в среднем 21 000 рублей.

При различной нагрузке рабочие частоты модели Ryzen 5 3600X лежат в диапазоне от 4,1 до 4,35 ГГц. С Ryzen 5 3600 картина получается похожей, но с заложенным в спецификациях ограничением верхней границы, из-за чего интервал частот чуть смещается вниз — от 4,0 до 4,2 ГГц. То есть старшая версия оказывается быстрее всего на 100-135 МГц, но стоит при этом больше на 2 000 рублей. При таком раскладе покупать Ryzen 5 3600X нет никакого смысла. Что же предлагает XT-версия 6-ядерника? А предлагает она дополнительные 100-150 МГц по всем ядрам в сравнении с Ryzen 5 3600X. Несмешная шутка вышла у «красных». Впрочем, оказалось, что Ryzen 5 3600XT — это самый удачный Matisse Refresh, представленный в прошлом месяце.

А еще в прошлом месяце AMD представила гибридные процессоры Ryzen 4000G (Renoir). В отличие от Matisse Refresh, эти чипы оказались очень интересными, ведь носители микроархитектуры Zen 2 получили встроенную графику Vega. «Красным», с одной стороны, пришлось пожертвовать кешем третьего уровня. Например, 8-ядерный Ryzen 7 4700G имеет всего 8 Мбайт быстрой памяти. С другой стороны, чипы Renoir имеют монолитную (не чиплетную) конструкцию c 7-нм кристаллом площадью 156 мм2… К сожалению, AMD предлагает десктопные Ryzen 4000G только в составе готовых систем, а потому мы не знаем розничных цен новинок. И все же такие процессоры время от времени попадают в розницу. В одном известном магазине до сих пор можно купить 8-ядерный Ryzen 7 PRO 1700X за 9 000 рублей, хотя пару месяцев назад он стоил 8 000 рублей.

Конфигурации, способные в большинстве случаев запустить ту или иную игру на максимальных настройках качества графики в разрешении WQHD и на высоких — в Ultra HD (или же потребуется вручную подбирать такие параметры, как сглаживание, тени и текстуры).

Именно в рамках продвинутой сборки хочется обсудить выбор материнской платы для платформы AMD AM4, ведь на сегодняшний день на рынке присутствуют устройства, использующие чипсеты A320, B350, X370, B450, X470, X570 и теперь B550. Точно известно, что гарантированную поддержку чипов Zen 3, помимо плат на базе логики 500-й серии, получат материнки B450 и X470. С учетом того, что первоначально в AMD не хотели идти на этот шаг, существует немаленькая вероятность, что платы на основе A320, B350 и X370 окажутся в пролете (продам ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME, недорого). Именно поэтому который месяц для всех сборок я рекомендую устройства, использующие хотя бы чипсет B450. Именно поэтому сентябрьский анонс набора логики A520, скорее всего, окажется малозначимым событием для нас с вами, ведь уже известно, что платы на его основе не получат поддержку стандарта PCI Express 4.0, а Zen 3, как мы уже выяснили, заработает и с B450. Судя по последним событиям, выпуск A520 просто сподвигнет производителей продавать по-настоящему недорогие платы для платформы AM4. А вот решения на B550-чипсете займут средний и высокий ценовые диапазоны.

Судите сами: самой дешевой B550-моделью в «Икскоме» на момент написания статьи являлась модель ASUS PRIME B550M-K (10 000 рублей) — ненормальная цена, тут и добавить нечего. Плата имеет 6-фазный конвертер питания, лишенный какого-либо дополнительного охлаждения; за сеть и звук в ней отвечают простенькие контроллеры Realtek; PCB оснащена всего двумя коннекторами для подключения вентиляторов — ни о какой нормальной сборке (с 8-ядерным Ryzen, например) речи и быть не может. За такую сумму лучше взять ASUS TUF B450-PRO GAMING, если выбирать модель того же вендора.

Вот и получается, что стоимость действительно хороших B550-плат начинается где-то с 13-14 тысяч рублей. В прошлом месяце я рекомендовал такие устройства, как MSI X470 GAMING PRO MAX и ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING. Их стоимость в X-Com Shop в начале августа приближается к 12 000 рублей. С учетом этого предлагаю в продвинутую сборку все же поставить что-то на B550-чипсете. Среди небольшого выбора, наблюдаемого в «Икскоме», отмечу MSI MAG B550M MORTAR и ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS — в обеих платах используется 6-фазный конвертер питания, однако устройства без проблем справятся хоть с Ryzen 9 3950X. А вот для тонкого разгона ЦП и успешных попыток выжать из «ряженок» максимум лучше взять что-то посерьезнее. В комментариях к прошлому выпуску читатели резонно указали на такие модели, как MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK и GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO, — это пока лучшие предложения в категории «цена — качество».

Разобравшись с матплатами, давайте поставим жирную точку в вопросе выбора 8-ядерного Ryzen 3000 для продвинутой сборки, ведь теперь в продаже находятся сразу три модели: 3700X (26 500 рублей), 3800X (29 000 рублей) и 3800XT (33 000 рублей).

Начнем с того, что различие в паспортных характеристиках между Ryzen 7 3800X и XT-версией заключается только в максимальной частоте Boost-режима, так как для новинки производитель указал диапазон 3,9-4,7 ГГц — на бумаге чип оказывается быстрее на 200 МГц. Только вот наше тестирование показывает, что в действительности заявленные 200 МГц обеспечиваются при загрузке одного-двух ядер. В остальных же случаях разница достигает в лучшем случае 100 МГц, и за это придется доплатить 4 000 рублей. При этом Ryzen 7 3800XT сильнее греется и потребляет больше электроэнергии, а ведь Ryzen 7 3800X тоже нельзя назвать холодным 8-ядерником.

Вот и получается, что Ryzen 7 3700X как был лучшим выбором для продвинутой сборки AMD, так им и остается. Искусственное раздувание модельного ряда и создание мнимого богатства выбора я категорически не одобряю. К сожалению, в Intel заняты тем же.

Самое интересное, что в продаже за 30 000 рублей можно найти 12-ядерную модель Ryzen 9 3900, которая без особых проблем превращается в Ryzen 9 3900X. Полагаю, стоимость Ryzen 7 3800XT постепенно снизится до более вменяемых показателей, однако что-то мне подсказывает, что этот чип все равно обречен, как и все выпущенные XT-модели в принципе.

Новый Ryzen 9 3900XT, как я уже сказал, не заслуживает нашего внимания — это худший чип из представленной троицы под «созвездием» XT. Да, новый процессор стал чуточку быстрее (на 50-100 МГц) при загрузке 1-6 потоков, но при задействовании большего числа ядер более высокую — на те же 50-100 МГц — тактовую частоту демонстрирует уже Ryzen 9 3900X — процессор годичной давности. При этом уступающий в частоте Ryzen 3900XT оказался очень горячим: разница в температуре может достигать 5-7 градусов Цельсия.

В максимальной сборке AMD остается Ryzen 9 3900X, хотя я всерьез посматриваю на модель Ryzen 9 3900. Если помните, в некоторых выпусках я ставил этот чип, но его цена и доступность постоянно менялась. В августе разница в стоимости между Ryzen 9 3900 и X-версией составляет в среднем 10 000 рублей — неплохая сумма, чтобы задуматься о покупке более доступной модели. При небольшой нагрузке разница в частоте между Ryzen 9 3900 и Ryzen 9 3900X оказывается заметной, а вот при максимальной загрузке всех 12 ядер она практически отсутствует. Наконец, младшую модель всегда можно разогнать самостоятельно. К сожалению, на момент написания статьи Ryzen 9 3900 не было в продаже в «Икскоме».

Эти же слова, в принципе, касаются и системы Intel. Сначала я указал 10-ядерный Core i9-10900K — флагманские Comet Lake наконец-то появились в продаже в магазине. Однако очень быстро этот чип исчез из продажи, поэтому пришлось возвращать Core i9-10900F — зато мы сэкономили 8 000 рублей.

Очень дорогие и сверхнавороченные модели, такие как MSI MEG Z490 Godlike, MSI MEG Z490 Ace, Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Xtreme и ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme, я традиционно не использую в максимальной сборке. Схожих эпитетов достойна и модель Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Pro AX. Моему коллеге Сергею Лепилову устройство понравилось, поскольку по итоговому результату разгона процессора и производительности не уступила значительно более дорогой версии из модельного ряда плат Aorus. В целом материнка имеет исчерпывающий арсенал для настройки и оверклокинга процессора и оперативной памяти, а также задел на будущее в плане поддержки высокоскоростной шины PCI-Express 4.0.

It clearly indicates that the novelty will receive a 100x zoom, and by this parameter it will reach the level of the Galaxy S20 Ultra.


At the same time, the question is of interest, what is the reason for such a huge size of the main camera module. It has been speculated that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus could be the first smartphone with dual periscope cameras to offer varying degrees of optical zoom. The problem is aggravated by the fact that AMD in this situation is not able to change anything. It has no factories of its own and relies on TSMC’s manufacturing facilities. For those customers who, due to a shortage of chips, may not receive the laptops they ordered on time, XMG offers several solutions to the problem. The alternative is to replace the Ryzen 7 4800H with an Intel Core i7-10750H. And although the Intel processor is about 100 euros more expensive, there will be no additional payment of the difference from the buyer. As for the rest of the brand’s laptops, there are no problems with their supply, XMG stressed.

Google announced last week that August 3rd will be the official launch date for the highly anticipated affordable Pixel 4a smartphone. More details will be announced later today. However, Amazon has already started selling the new smartphone. Some of its technical characteristics are also published there.


At the moment, a kit is available on Amazon that includes a smartphone in black and a case, the coloring of which can be chosen from three options: black, blue or gray. The kit costs $ 389. As for the specifications of the smartphone, it was confirmed that it is equipped with a 12-megapixel main camera with support for Live HDR +, Night Sight and portrait mode.

A group of Chinese hackers Pangu discovered in devices from Apple “Unrecoverable” vulnerability. It connects to the Secure Enclave chip, a coprocessor that stores encryption keys, passwords, Apple Pay cards, and biometrics for Touch ID and Face ID.

Since the vulnerability is hardware, not software, Apple will not be able to fix it with any patches. To resolve the issue, it will be necessary to make adjustments to the architecture of the chip itself. As the hackers point out, the problem affects all devices running on Apple processors, from the A7 to the A11 Bionic. These include:

  • iPhone 5s – iPhone X;
  • iPad 5-7 generation;
  • iPad Air 1st to 2nd generation;
  • iPad mini 2-4 generation;
  • iPad Pro.
