[100] Creating Your First Xamarin.Forms App

In this very first episode of Gur.Codes(); I will show you how to create your first Xamarin.Forms app in Visual Studio for Mac. Please be kind, it is my first recording ever, it has some rough edges, I know, but please let me know what you think!

  1. Very nice video! Specially for starters with a Mac version of Visual Studio. Nice to see that you also explain the functions around the code, like the namespaces. Your vid helped a lot! Thanks!

  2. I was looking for my first tutorial on writing a Xamarin.Form application in Visual Studio Community Edition for the Mac. This helped me get an ideal start. Thank you and keep up the good work.

  3. Thanks for this video! I am trying to develop my own app this summer. I only have experience with Java (2 semesters) and I wanted to make an app for both android and iOS so I decided Xamarin was the best option. C# is similar to Java and I am not having trouble picking it up but The XAML really confuses me. I have no experience with HTML or XML and I was wondering if it's easy to pick up and is there other tools to create the UI like in android studio?
