Build an iOS 8 app with Bluemix and MobileFirst

You may already know about some of the benefits of Bluemix, IBM’s open platform for developing and deploying mobile and web applications. You may have even built some applications with some of the mobile services already on offer. We’re now excited to announce the release of our new MobileFirst Platform for iOS, currently in Beta! This video and accompanying tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a mobile backend application on Bluemix, and then connecting that backend with our sample iOS mobile application, BlueList. BlueList has already been written (in Swift!), but you’ll be able to view the code, and see how to utilize the iOS SDK to consume these mobile services. The second half of the tutorial will walk you through how to send a push notification from the bluemix console to the mobile application.
