Easy Redux Tutorial: Adding Redux to a Simple React App

Starting with a simple “counter” app that uses React state, this video walks through the process of adding Redux and moving the existing state out of React and into the Redux store.

This is an excerpt from an upcoming course on Redux. If you’ve got the basics of React down but have struggled to understand how to put Redux into practice, check it out: https://daveceddia.com/refactoring-to-redux/

  2. One of the best tutorials and explanations of Redux I've come across (possibly even the best), and in 14 minutes! I especially love how you start with state management the way it used to be (pre hooks days), then "convert" to the Redux way. Excellent job.

  5. After 5 days trying to find a basic tutorial and trying to understand Redux, this video finally gave me what I wanted. I would like a follow up video where you take this same code but split it up in folders for reducers and actions.
