    DO NOT USE THIS TUTORIAL.
    IT IS WRONG.
It is misleading. YOUR APP MAY BE REJECTED BY THE iTUNES STORE.
    DO NOT USE THIS TUTORIAL.
Google and Apple frown on apps that are website wrappers. SEE: https://github.com/jessemonroy650/top-phonegap-mistakes/blob/master/new-to-Phonegap.md#005a
In addition, it is NEVER shown on an actual device.

Hello! thanks for the tutorial, it was very helpful, but after you do this how culd you use phonegap plugins since you're working all from server side?it is posible to make a button in rails app to access the phone camera for instance?

This is not working for me. You're basically copying some of the code from this screencast, but phonegap has changed some things since then. https://vimeo.com/18763953

It would be helpful if you would paste the code used in the video into the description (or somewhere). It's hard to read and re-type everything, especially the js code.

It seems like a great approach. Besides loading the webapp and doing everything on the server side, could you run some native features and connect them to the rails app? For example, with this approach, could you use the geolocation of the ios dispositive to do something in the railsapp?

so, instead of using an api to write the client side in javascript you just routed the entire app to your rails website?
