Any animation lag in this video is due to the emulator and screen recording running at the same time.

In this tutorial you will learn how to program a simple iPhone and Android app Game from scratch in 28 minutes. To create the game we will use React Native Animations and code some basic collission detection on our own, so no game engine is used.

This tutorial is mainly a tutorial for learning how to use React Native Animations, there are real Game Engines if you want to create real app games.

  1. I'm having a little trouble with the game over. Whenever I get hit by the Enemy, nothing happens, the game keeps going on, I keep collecting points, and no alert appears. Could you please help me, the tutorial was fantastic btw.

  3. Hello thank you for the video but im getting this Error , The <Image> component cannot contain children. If you want to render content on top of the image, consider using aboslute positioning. any help please , i copied exacly the same code you produced
