Halo fan Steve Witt has built a 2-meter replica of the UNSC flying frigate from LEGO. Writes about this Gamespot. The fan spent 25 thousand parts and 5 years on this.
The exact length of the ship was 2.1 meters, and the maximum width was 81 centimeters. The total weight of the “toy” was 51 kilograms. The replica also received over 150 working lights. Witt tried to detail the frigate as much as possible – the author gave it the name Katara (a reference to one of the characters in the cartoon “Avatar: The Last Airbender”) and tail number 127.
The step-by-step history of the ship’s creation can be found on Steve’s Flickr account. In addition, the LEGO ship can be seen in Fort Worth, Texas. The replica is hosted at the Rogue Brick Builders Lounge.
As a reminder, 343 Industries is currently working on Halo Infinite. The release of the game was supposed to take place along with the release of the Xbox Series X, but the developers pushed it back to 2021. According to the head of the studio Chris Lee (Chris Lee), the reason was the difficulty due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the desire to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the team.
