Rostelecom-Solar, which develops products and services for monitoring and operational management of information security, has released a new version of the Solar appScreener 3.6 code scanner.
Solar appScreener is a static code analysis tool designed to identify vulnerabilities and undeclared capabilities (NDVs) in software products. A distinctive feature of the solution is the ability to check not only the source code, but also executable files (binary code). The complex supports many programming languages and analysis of various executable file formats. Integration with development environments, automated software build tools and bug tracking systems is provided.
The new version of Solar appScreener 3.6 allows testing software for vulnerabilities and NDVs to comply with the fourth assessment level of confidence (EAL4) in accordance with the requirements of the Bank of Russia regulations. The product also adds support for the Pascal programming language and implements closer integration with storage and version control systems (repositories) GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket. In addition, it is reported about the inclusion of support for multi-platform analytics Prometheus and interactive visualization Grafana, as well as a number of improvements aimed at improving the convenience and comfort of working with the system.
Solar appScreener is included in the register of domestic software, is certified by the FSTEC of Russia for compliance with software requirements for the 4th level of control of the absence of NDV and can be used to replace foreign analogues.
