Acer has started official sales in Russian retail chains of fresh versions of Nitro 5 gaming laptops, which were presented in April this year. There are three models available – AN517-52, AN515-55 and AN515-44 – each available in several configurations.
Nitro 5 notebooks, codenamed AN515-55 and AN515-44, feature 15.6-inch displays, while AN517-52 offers a 17.3-inch panel. In all cases, high-quality IPS panels with Full HD resolution, a response time of 3 ms and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz are used.
The basic version of Acer Nitro 5 (models AN517-52 and AN515-55) is equipped with an Intel Core i5-10300H processor, but if you wish, you can choose a more productive solution, up to the Core i7-10750H. The AN515-44 model, in turn, is based on AMD Renoir processors up to the eight-core flagship Ryzen 7 4800H.
In addition, the new items can offer up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as a discrete graphics subsystem up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. The storage system can be up to two SSD-drives up to 512 GB and a hard drive up to 2 TB.
The cooling system of the Acer Nitro 5 has also been updated. According to the manufacturer, the fresh model has 25% higher cooling efficiency compared to the previous generation model. Also noted is the use of a Killer Ethernet E2600 network card and a Wi-Fi 6 module from Intel.
