Akasa has presented a very interesting novelty – a case called Maze Pro, designed to install the popular Raspberry Pi 4 Model B single-board computer.
The solution is made in black anodised aluminum. Dimensions are only 97 × 65.5 × 35 mm, which indicates the possibility of creating an ultra-compact nettop.
The case is passively cooled: the labyrinth-shaped ribbed upper part acts as a radiator for efficient heat dissipation. Due to the absence of fans, a completely silent operation is ensured.
The novelty is equipped with a power on / off button, as well as slots for various ports – USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, Ethernet, Micro HDMI, etc. A special removable cover provides access to the array of GPIO pins.
We add that the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B single-board computer carries a Broadcom BCM2711 processor with four computing cores (1.5 GHz), from 2 to 8 GB of LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM RAM, a Gigabit Ethernet controller for wired connection to a computer network, and also wireless adapters Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands) and Bluetooth 5.0 (BLE).
