AMD laptops Honor MagicBook will receive ultra-fast 65-W recharge

As we already know, on July 16, the Honor brand, owned by the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, will introduce MagicBook laptops based on AMD. A new teaser published on the Internet sheds light on the energy characteristics of upcoming laptops.

Earlier it was reported that the basis for laptops will lie the Ryzen 4000 Series processors, manufactured using 7-nanometer technology. In particular, the Ryzen 5 4500U, Ryzen 7 4700U and Ryzen 7 4800U chips were mentioned.

As the now announced teaser image says, laptops will receive support for ultra-fast 65-watt recharging. This means that you can replenish the battery energy supply from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes.

New products include the MagicBook 14, equipped with a 14-inch diagonal screen. The resolution of this panel is likely to be 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). Likewise, laptops with a larger display will also be announced.

According to Canalys estimates, 72.9 million personal computers — laptops and desktops — were shipped worldwide in the second quarter of this year. This is 9% more compared to the result for the second quarter of 2019, when shipments were 66.9 million units.
