Apple could already begin production of AirPods Studio headphones

Recently, there have been quite a lot of rumors that this year Apple will introduce the AirPods Studio high-end wireless over-ear headphones. At the beginning of the week, it was reported that their assembly will begin in June or July, however, according to DigiTimes, the production has already been launched.

Unitech and Compeq Manufacturing are PCB suppliers for AirPods Studio, and they have already begun shipping their Apple products. Analysts agree that the new high-end headphones can be presented to the public during the Apple Developers Conference WWDC 2020, which starts June 22 and will be held online. Although there are suggestions that, since the device is not primarily aimed at developers, Apple may present them separately so as not to distract participants from the main topics of the event.

According to preliminary data, AirPods Studio will receive head and neck detection sensors, thanks to which the sound corresponding to the right and left channels will be directed to the “right” ear, regardless of how the device is worn. Recent leaks report that the cost of new headphones will be $ 349, which corresponds to the price of Beats Studio 3.
