State Corporation Rostec announces that in our country the use of a system based on artificial intelligence (AI) is beginning, which will help in the creation of aircraft engines.
The new platform will track the manufacture of power units and will allow them to simulate tests in a virtual environment. This will significantly reduce the number of real tests, improve the quality of products and speed up the production process.
It is reported that the United Engine Corporation Rostec and the Tsifra group of companies have begun testing the Zyfra Industrial Internet of Things Platform (ZIIoT) platform at the Salyut manufacturing complex.
“The platform consists of several elements, which include an automated workstation for data entry, a central information warehouse, as well as an artificial intelligence module“, – the message says.
For the training of artificial intelligence, a database is used with key details of the details and information about previous tests.
The platform evaluates the characteristics of parts and components of the power unit. Artificial intelligence analyzes the data and predicts how successful the actual tests of an engine assembled from such parts under given conditions will be.
