The organization received a patent for a medical complex using AI. The calls will be answered by the dispatchers as before, who will ask questions according to the given algorithm. All data is entered into the system, after which the AI determines how urgent the call is – emergency or urgent (without a threat to life).
The organization claims that the use of AI will reduce the time it takes for the right team to arrive at the patient.
“Today we can say with confidence that artificial intelligence, integrated into the management of the polling algorithms, has significantly reduced the processing time of 103 calls and from the 112 service, and the time for sending teams to patients, and also improved the quality of medical care. Such a high result was achieved thanks to the development of a medical invention, in which all kinds of polling algorithms and reasons for calling were worked out “, – said the head physician of the station Nikolai Plavunov.
This is not the first case of using AI in Russian medicine. In August, the Moscow Department of Health began using artificial intelligence to diagnose lung cancer.
