Aspen Technology, a global provider of asset performance optimization software, today announced the acquisition of Camo Analytics AS, an industrial analytics service provider headquartered in Norway.
Camo Analytics’ technology and expertise is expected to help bring AspenTech solutions to the next level of performance, profitability, consistency and quality in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
Camo Analytics was founded in 1984 by Norwegian scientists with the goal of using analytics to improve the quality of products and manufacturing processes in a variety of industries across
the world. Camo Analytics Unscrambler suite of software handles big data stores to ensure consistency, high quality, and understandable presentation. The information obtained can be used in
many areas: from design to production and operation.
The AspenTech portfolio will expand with new Process Analytical (PAT) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) solutions to help ensure compliance
regulatory requirements, reduce waste and continually improve performance.
The Unscrambler is the primary work tool for more than 25,000 scientists, researchers and engineers who need to quickly analyze large amounts of complex data.
