French blogger under the pseudonym j0nathan on my Twitter said that in the course of studying the files of the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla discovered a mention of a possible third add-on to the game.
We will remind, to date, has been announced only two planned extensions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: “Wrath of the Druids” (Ireland) and “Siege of Paris” (France).
In the files of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the mentioned DLCs were named the countries where the addon events unfold – Ireland (“Wrath of the Druids”) and Francia (“Siege of Paris”). And next to them in the list is a certain Meteor.
Meteor is listed as the third add-on to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the list released by j0nathan. As with the two previous extensions, this is probably a codename, not an in-game phenomenon.
For comparison: Assassin’s Creed Rogue, released in 2014, was known to the public as Comet before the official announcement. As a result, the game had nothing to do with the celestial body and talked about an assassin hunter in the 18th century.
Why Ubisoft did not announce Meteor along with the other two additions, if it really plans to release it, is unknown. Perhaps the addon was actually canceled or it seriously different from those already presented.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. The release of “Wrath of the Druids” is expected on April 29 this year, and “Siege of Paris” – in the summer.
