Bounding Box Software and Humble Games have released a fresh gameplay trailer for the Doom and Quake-inspired Prodeus shooter. The video demonstrates battles on one of the levels against various enemies, the use of an extensive arsenal and a system of dismembering opponents.
The shown location is a multi-storey complex in a canyon, in which shootouts unfold in various conditions – in open spaces, in narrow passages and on a bridge from which you can fall down.
There are plenty of types of enemies in Prodeus: the video showed a soldier with a firearm, a monster with a bull’s head and a creature that uses barriers and energy projectiles. A large arsenal of weapons will help to deal with them. The trailer shows the use of a heavy machine gun, an assault rifle, a shotgun, two submachine guns and a cannon that shoots an electric beam and red spheres.
Separately, the video allows you to evaluate the Prodeus style and the dismemberment system. When opponents are destroyed, blood is poured out of them, and the corpses are scattered to pieces.
Prodeus will be released on November 10, 2020 in Steam Early Access. Later, the shooter will get to consoles.
