Independent studio Ember Lab in the official microblog Kena: Bridge of Spirits has announced that it is being forced to postpone the release of its fantasy action-adventure game to a later date.
Recall that until recently the premiere of Kena: Bridge of Spirits was expected before the end of this year. Due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the developers had to postpone the release date to the first quarter of 2021.
“This year has brought a lot of challenges and our move to work from home has slowed down the production process more than we had hoped.”, – motivated their “Difficult decision” at Ember Lab.
According to studio staff, additional months of development will go to Kena: Bridge of Spirits for: “We use this time to polish the game and create an experience that matches our vision and your expectations.”…
Ember Lab also admitted that they were “Shocked and flattered” positive feedback from players on the announcement of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and promised to share new information about the project in the coming months.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is being created for PC (Epic Games Store), PS4 and PS5. At this stage, Ember Lab has not yet decided on a price, but the game will definitely not cost the full $ 60. In addition, there are no micropayments in the action.
Much of Ember Lab’s development has focused on PS4 capabilities. However, the PS5 version will have something to boast about: as it turned out from the Game Informer material, it takes only about two seconds to “clean” the game launch from the system menu.
