AMD’s Chinese partner Yeston is preparing to release its first non-reference version of the Radeon RX 6800 XT. The novelty will receive a completely unique performance, including a printed circuit board, which is made of white PCB, which is very rare for Radeon cards.
The Sakura Edition model is a 2.5-slot solution, made in a unique style that identifies the cherry blossom (Japanese plum). On the back of the video card there is a stiffening plate painted in Japanese motives. Next to the drawing of a cherry blossom branch is a female anime character.
Apparently, the printed circuit board of the video card is much shorter than the cooling system itself. It only takes up space under two cooling fans. The third fan removes heat directly from the radiator. That is why two 8-pin connectors for additional power are located in the central part of the graphics accelerator, which is not very convenient for organizing an outwardly attractive cable management.
According to the manufacturer, the new Radeon RX 6800 XT Sakura Edition will go on sale in December. Usually video cards in the most unusual design are available only in the Chinese market. However, such solutions can be purchased without any problems through official Chinese trading platforms, like the same AliExpess.
