2018 God of War director Cory Barlog on my microblog commented on recent rumors of a possible sequel to the cult series of slashers Santa Monica Studio.
Recently, a YouTube user under the pseudonym Moore’s Law is Dead, citing his own sources, said that the sequel to God of War (2018) will go on sale for PlayStation 5 in the fall of next year.
According to Moore’s Law is Dead, Sony Interactive Entertainment deliberately pulls off the announcement in order to keep “Wow factor”… The very presentation of the game will supposedly take place “In less than a month”…
Moore’s Law is Dead also claims that the new God of War will offer “Stunning graphics on the verge of photorealism”that will show the power of the next generation Sony console.
The information obtained by Moore’s Law is Dead was relayed by several gaming sites at once, which did not pass by Barlog: the developer published a GIF-image ridiculing this news.

Barlog did not indicate directly the object of his ridicule (only about “News for the last 24 hours”). In this regard, the director tried to laugh it offwhat Bugsnax really meant, a new game from Young Horses (Octodad).
God of War was released in April 2018 exclusively on PlayStation 4. Since the release, sales of the exclusive have exceeded 10 million copies, and Santa Monica Studio has allegedly set about sequel.
