Corsair has announced two new additions, the Katar Pro XT Lightweight Gaming Mouse and the iCUE MM700 RGB Extended Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad. Both new items have already gone on sale. The mouse is priced at $ 30, the backlit gaming mat at $ 50.
The Corsair Katar Pro XT gaming mouse is symmetrical and weighs just 73 grams, making it one of the lightest in the company’s series of gaming mice. The manufacturer positions the new product as an ideal choice for FPS and MOBA games.
The Corsair Katar Pro XT is powered by an 18,000 DPI optical sensor. The gaming mouse offers six programmable buttons that can be configured through Corsair’s proprietary iCUE app, where you can also adjust mouse sensitivity, create macros, and more.
In the novelty, the company first applied new spring-loaded Quickstrike buttons with minimal travel and clearance between the design of the switch itself and the mouse button. The manufacturer claims that thanks to this, clicks are registered much faster. The primary buttons use Omron switches with a 50 million-click resource.
Along with the Katar Pro XT gaming mouse, Corsair introduced the iCUE MM700 RGB large gaming mousepad. Its dimensions are 930 × 400 mm. It has three RGB lighting zones that you can customize using the Corsair iCUE app from 12 presets available or create your own.
An additional bonus of the novelty is the built-in USB hub for two connectors. You can connect additional peripherals to it, such as a mouse and keyboard.
