As promised, on March 17, Bethesda Softworks and id Software released a full trailer for The Ancient Gods, Part Two, for DOOM Eternal.

Recall that in the upcoming expansion, the Doom Slayer will “Again decide the fate of the universe”: gather the armies of the Guardians, lay siege to the last stronghold of Hell, break through the fortress walls and fight the Dark Lord himself.

The unveiled video lasts a little less than two minutes and shows excerpts from the scenes preceding the main confrontation and several types of enemies that the hero will have to face.

Developers threaten to arrange “The grand end of the Doom Slayer saga”… The mood of the authors is also felt in the trailer, which promises that “Your war against Hell will end here”

Among other things, the published trailer reveals the release date of The Ancient Gods, Part Two. As predicted by Twitter user Aggiornamenti Lumia, the add-on will be available tomorrow, March 18th.

On the appointed day, The Ancient Gods, Part Two will be released on PC (Steam, Bethesda.net), PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. The Nintendo Switch version is expected before the end of this year.

DOOM Eternal was released on March 20, 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and reached Nintendo Switch on December 8. Editions for the current generation of consoles are slated to premiere this year.
