Epic Games recently talked about the success of its Epic Games Store in 2020. She boasted of the growth of various indicators and spoke about plans for the development of the service. And in parallel, the company gave a comment to PC Gamer about the release of exclusives in EGS. It turns out that Epic Games plans to continue to work actively in this direction.
Company representatives stated: “In the next two years, we will have more exclusives than have appeared since the launch of the service.”… This short comment allows us to draw several conclusions at once. Since its appearance on the market, the Epic Games Store has been marked with more than a hundred exclusives. Many of them were temporary and have already appeared on Steam, but the number is still impressive. In the next two years, it should at least double.
However, at the moment, only 21 games are known, which are announced as future EGS exclusives. And many of them are temporary, like Darkest Dungeon 2 and Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The list also includes projects from Ubisoft, distributed through the French publisher’s own store. Also worth mentioning are the new games Remedy Entertainment, Playdead and genDesign. Their development is sponsored by Epic Games.
