Ghostrunner Gets Hardcore Mode And First Paid DLC – with ice katana and gloves

Publishers All In! Games and 505 Games in partnership with One More Level, 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks in the official microblog their cyberpunk slasher Ghostrunner announced new content for the game.

First, the developers have introduced a free hardcore mode. The corresponding patch is already available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), and will appear on consoles later: December 17 (PS4 and Xbox One) and January 14 (Nintendo Switch).

As part of the new mode, it is proposed to run the game with all the improvements already received. At the same time, enemies will become more dangerous and diverse – all types of opponents can be found at the very beginning of the passage.

Secondly, the studios have announced the Winter Pack, a paid pack that includes an ice katana and themed gloves for the protagonist. A separate trailer was even dedicated to the kit (attached above).

The Winter Pack is already available for purchase on all target platforms except GOG and Nintendo Switch (the addon will reach the hybrid console on January 14):

Ghostrunner was released in October on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4 and Xbox One, and reached Nintendo Switch in November. Versions for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S should arrive in 2021.

According to unconfirmed information, at the beginning of October, One More Level concluded with the publishing house All In! Games contracts to develop a set of add-ons for Ghostrunner and the next co-op game.
