Google will launch Stadia in eight more European countries. Russia is not among them

Google will expand support for its Stadia gaming cloud service. Until the end of December 7, Stadia will work in eight European countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Switzerland. Prior to that, Google Stadia was available in 12 other European countries, as well as Canada and the United States.

New users will receive a free month of Stadia Pro subscription, giving access to titles like Hitman 2, Hello Neighbor: Secret Neighbor, Into the Breach, Kine, Monster Jam Steel Titans and Everspace. These will also include exclusives such as Splash Damage’s Outcasters and Uppercut Games’ Submerged: Hidden Depths. In addition, the service will offer two free games – Super Bomberman R Online and Destiny 2. At the end of the trial period, the user can optionally renew the subscription to the cloud gaming service for 10 euros per month.

Notably, Google has expanded access to its streaming platform three days before the release of Cyberpunk 2077, which will hit Stadia on December 10, 2020, as well as other announced gaming platforms. This takes on special symbolism if you remember that Cyberpunk 2077 was developed in Poland.
