On the Voice platform, renders have been published showing from all sides a mid-range smartphone Samsung Galaxy A72 5G with support for fifth generation mobile networks. This model is expected to go on sale in the first half of the coming year.
The device is equipped with an Infinity-O screen with a small hole in the center at the top for a single front camera. The traditional flat panel is 6.7 inches diagonal. The matrix is likely Full HD + resolution.
A quad camera is installed in the rear: the optical blocks and the flash are enclosed in a rectangular area with rounded corners. The fingerprint scanner is not visible – most likely, it is built directly into the screen area.
The dimensions of the device are indicated – 165 × 77.4 × 8.1 mm (9.9 mm including the protruding camera block). A 3.5mm headphone jack and a balanced USB Type-C port are provided.
Rumor has it that the “heart” of the smartphone will serve as an Exynos 1080 processor. The chip includes ARM Cortex-A78 and ARM Cortex-A55 cores, a Mali-G78 MP10 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem with data transfer rates of up to 5.1 Gbps.
The Galaxy A72 5G is expected to be priced at $ 600.
