In the coming days, Xiaomi will present a flagship router with Wi-Fi 6E support

A teaser has been published on the Internet, informing that by the end of the year the Chinese company Xiaomi will announce a high-performance Wi-Fi router: the new product will debut on December 28 – along with smartphones of the Mi 11 family.

We are talking about the Xiaomi AX6000 model. Unfortunately, there is not much information about the technical characteristics of the new item at the moment. It is only reported that the device complies with the Wi-Fi 6, or 802.11ax standard.

Rumor has it that Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphones will receive Wi-Fi 6E support. The same technology is likely to be implemented in the Xiaomi AX6000 router. The Wi-Fi 6E standard provides for the allocation of the 6 GHz band for unlicensed use in addition to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

We add that the new family of Xiaomi flagship smartphones will include the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro models – these will be the first commercial devices with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The devices are rumored to receive a high-quality Quad HD + display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as a multi-module camera with 108-megapixel main sensor. The smartphones will initially have the Android 11 operating system.
