Games Industry shared information on sales of digital editions of games in the UK from November 7-13. Two fought for the leadership – Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Unlike the retail version of the chart, it is the new Call of Duty that has left the digital palm. Black Ops Cold War surpassed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in terms of downloads by 39%.
In terms of the sum of digital and retail sales, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War lost 16% to the previous part, but confidently surpassed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is located on the second line.
Compared to the retail chart, PS5 games proved to be much worse, which had not been released in the UK by the end of the indicated period. Nevertheless, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is still the third, but only thanks to the success of the PS4 version.
At the same time, the remake of Demon’s Souls did not make it into the top ten, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure even started from outside the top 40. Probably, with the release of PS5, things will go uphill for these games.
Those who are definitely not doing well is the renewed XIII. The scandalous remake started from 18th place, losing in sales to … the original 2003 game. The original source is located two lines higher than the modernized version.
