The Gematsu portal noticed that the pages of the Ubisoft game called Immortals: Fenyx Rising appeared on the website of the Taiwanese rating committee for several target platforms at once.
The journalists suggested that under Immortals: Fenyx Rising is hidden the Gods & Monsters action adventure game announced at E3 2019 from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey development team from Ubisoft Quebec.
Recall that Gods & Monsters was supposed to be released on February 25, 2020, but was postponed by the Ubisoft management to the current fiscal year, that is, the period from April 2020 to March 2021.
At the same time, Ubisoft has already confirmed that Gods & Monsters will change its name on the way to a new release date. In addition, the name of the protagonist of the fairy tale adventure is Fenyx.
Taiwan’s Immortals: Fenyx Rising is listed on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The list of target platforms is missing except Google Stadia, for which the game was also confirmed.
Previously, Ubisoft CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot assured that the publisher was happy with how “Feels and shows itself” former Gods & Monsters.
The timing of the re-announcement of Gods & Monsters is unknown, but in September Ubisoft is going to host the second edition of its Ubisoft Forward news show – it is quite possible that the game will be presented there.
