Lenovo unveiled a range of new laptops for gamers at CES 2021 with the Legion 5 debuting in two sizes, Legion 5 Pro and Legion 7.

The Legion 5 series includes modifications with a 15.6- and 17.3-inch display. In the first case, the refresh rate reaches 165 Hz, in the second – 144 Hz. In this case, the resolution is the same – 1920 × 1080 pixels, or Full HD.

The Legion 5 Pro model, in turn, received a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The same panel is used in the Legion 7 laptop. In all cases, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX series graphics card is installed.

Laptops Legion 5 and Legion 5 Pro in the maximum configuration carry a processor of the Ryzen 7 5000 family, the Legion 7 model – Ryzen 9 5000. DDR4-3200 RAM is used, the volume of which can reach 16 or 32 GB.

The new items have Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a Harman audio system with two 2-watt speakers, a 720p webcam, a backlit keyboard, USB Type-C 3.2 and USB Type-A 3.2 interfaces. Responsible for storing data is a fast M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 1 or 2 TB (depending on the laptop model).

The Legion 5 and Legion 5 Pro laptops will go on sale in March for between $ 770 and $ 1,000. Legion 7 will be available in June starting at $ 1,670.
