Lenovo has introduced relatively inexpensive laptops based on Intel Tiger Lake hardware, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 and ThinkPad E15 Gen 2, which will go on sale in November.
Laptops are equipped with displays measuring 14 and 15.6 inches, respectively. The maximum configuration in both cases assumes a Full HD panel (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a brightness of 300 cd / m22 and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. Touch control support can be implemented.
The “heart” of computers is the eleventh generation Core processor (up to Core i7). The graphics subsystem can use an integrated Intel controller or an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 adapter with 2 GB of memory.
New items can carry on board up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and two solid state drives with a total capacity of up to 2 TB. There are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters.
The developer highlights support for the high-speed Thunderbolt 4 interface. The claimed battery life on a single battery charge reaches 9 hours for the younger version and 8.4 hours for the older one.
The laptop computers are running Windows 10 Pro. Both new products start at $ 699.
