Link’s Awakening in Minecraft – the demo is ready

Minecraft is still popular today, as there are many creative people among its fans who regularly share their amazing work with the community. For example, quite recently, enthusiasts showed a selection of Russian landmarks, a city from the Attack of the Titans anime and a detailed map from Among Us. And now the authors have shared their creation under the pseudonyms pickledscones and thelasteddieonearth. For two years now, they’ve been recreating The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening in Minecraft.

Their goal is not only to build a detailed map from the famous Nintendo game. Enthusiasts have far greater ambitions – they decided to create a fully playable version of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening in Minecraft. That is, the project will have appropriate characters, items and even bosses with which users can fight.

So far, pickledscones and thelasteddieonearth have released a demo version of their project, and also shared screenshots. Based on the images, the authors have done an incredible job. They took a responsible approach to the recreation of Koholint Island and all its features. The enthusiasts took care of the selection of colors, which refers to the Link’s Awakening remake, implemented different paths, entrances to the caves, carefully transferred the design of individual rooms, and so on.

You can download a demo version of the game to run it in Minecraft using this link.
