Mail Bank will issue “Mir” cards with Russian contactless chip

Post Bank (owned by VTB and Post of Russia) has issued cards of PS “Mir” with a chip for contactless payment of Russian production Micron. The pilot party has already arrived at the bank’s service points

contactless cards “Peace”. In terms of content and functionality, they will be no different from cards with a chip module of foreign production.

The NIMIM development chip Micron supports the ability to work cards on the contact and contactless interface. It is certified by the system “Peace” for use in national
payment cards and meets international standards. It has been specially developed by PS “Mir” and has its own operating system.
