Marvel’s Spider-Man remaster will not receive a standalone disc edition and support for transferring saves from PS4

Insomniac Games on my microblog shared some new crumbs of information regarding the release of a graphically enhanced version of her superhero action game Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 5.

At the moment, the only confirmed way to get Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered is to buy the full edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for 5499 rubles.

Now Insomniac Games has announced that it is not planning an independent release of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered in retail. Whether a separate digital version of the reissue will go on sale is not specified.

Also in limbo are the owners of the original Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4. According to the director of development at Marvel Games Eric Monacelli (Eric Monacelli), everyone will have to pay for the remaster.

Among other things, the developers have confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will not support transfer saves from PS4: all trophies obtained with difficulty will have to be earned again.

Recall that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will offer all three story add-ons in the kit, improved graphics and animation, “Almost instant” downloads and support for 60 frames / s in optional mode.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (and with it Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered) will be released on November 12 in the US and other countries of the first wave of the PlayStation 5 launch, and will reach the rest of the world on November 19.
