Marvel’s Spider-Man will still be released on PS5, but so far only bundled with Miles Morales

As expected, Insomniac Games’ superhero action game Marvel’s Spider-Man will be released on PlayStation 5 alongside the previously presented Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Insomniac Games’ Director of Public Relations James Stevenson confirmed the existence of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered, a modernized version of the game for PS5, on the official PlayStation Blog.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered download code is included with the full edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which will go on sale for $ 70 / € 80 with the console.

Whether the owners of the original version will be allowed to purchase the remaster separately and whether the owners of the original version will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 edition, the developers have not yet specified.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will include an updated Marvel’s Spider-Man, as well as all three story add-ons from The City That Never Sleeps – The Heist, Turf Wars and Silver Lining.

According to Stevenson, a remaster will not do with one reshuffle: they promise improved models, animations and lighting, ray tracing, “Almost instant” download and optional 60fps mode.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PS4 and PS5. The game will go on sale in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12, and will reach the rest of the world a week later.
