Microsoft Flight Simulator gets VR support

Microsoft and Asobo have announced an update to Microsoft Flight Simulator that adds support for virtual reality headsets to the game. With their help, you can get even deeper into the role of a pilot.

“The commitment and involvement of the simulation community has helped our team define the approach to building virtual reality. Our users remain valuable partners in the ongoing development, improvement and addition of new features to our simulator. It was thanks to direct feedback from players that we decided to use the VR feature in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and we look forward to further advice on how to improve the game. “– said project development manager Jorg Neumann (Jorg Neumann).

VR mode in Microsoft Flight Simulator is free. Microsoft and Asobo Studio have included support for Windows Mixed Reality headsets (including the HP Reverb G2), Oculus, Valve and HTC. To collect user feedback on VR mode, a special section was opened on the official forum. There you can share your impressions or find the answer to your question.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is already out on PC, and will reach Xbox Series X and S in the summer of 2021.
