Ahead of tomorrow’s release of Microsoft Flight Simulator, the game review embargo has ended: The web has been flooded with rave reviews from Western critics.
Microsoft Flight Simulator received 19 Metacritic ratings at time of publication with an average rating of 94%. This is the best result among PC games this year – even Half-Life: Alyx (93%) was left behind.
Six editions, including IGN and Video Games Chronicle, had the maximum score for Microsoft Flight Simulator, while the German portal GameStar had the lowest score (87%).
Journalists wrote down the advantages of Microsoft Flight Simulator as an excellent visual component and a detailed recreation of the territory for research, and as disadvantages – graphical compromises and technical flaws.
“This phenomenal looking and incredibly detailed simulator manages to be the perfect entry point for absolute beginners interested in the genre.”, – the reviewer of the Video Games Chronicle is sure.
Despite the identified shortcomings, GameStar journalist considers Microsoft Flight Simulator “An exciting example of what modern PCs are technically capable of”…
Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on August 18 on PC (Steam, Windows 10) at a price of 4,356 rubles. The Xbox One version is also in development, but it does not have a date or at least a release date at this stage.
