MONT will promote Group-IB in the CIS

MONT and Group-IB announced the beginning of cooperation. Group-IB develops a strategy of moving away from direct sales, while for MONT the new partnership will strengthen the direction of information
security and enter the market for hunting, analysis, monitoring and forecasting of cyber threats through Vendor technologies.

MONT will provide a full cycle of agreement, logistics, expertise and technical support for Group-IB products: Group-IB Competency Centers will be deployed in distributor locations
demo equipment representing the entire stack of vendor products. In the markets of Russia, Belarus, Transcaucasia, Central and Central Asia, the company will train technical specialists on the ground for
ensuring the necessary quality of presses, implementation and further technical support of products, which will result in MONT partners in the CIS receiving a turnkey solution. Currently the geography of the distributor
covers 11 CIS representative offices, 5 of which are in Kazakhstan.

As explained by the Group-IB Commercial Director Igor Smirnov, some time ago a strategy was adopted to go on sale through a partner channel, and therefore the possibility of such
cooperation.

What MONT will offer

The Group-IB product stack includes Threat Intelligence’s Cyber ​​Threat Monitoring, Forecasting and Analysis system. Amid the constant emergence of new fraud schemes in online banking and
e-commerce service, MEST will pay special attention to the promotion of Secure Bank, whose development began in due course with a grant from Skolkovo. Secure Bank is able to
identify, in real time, the preparation and execution of thefts of funds while using mobile or Internet banking clients. The product “sees” phishing attacks, effective against
social engineering methods, banking trojans and other malicious activity.

The hardware solution in the Group-IB line is a complex for detecting targeted attacks by Threat Detection System – the flagship of the Group-IB product line. TDS is used to prevent it
early-stage cyberattack, zero-day threat detection, and enhanced cybersecurity capabilities of its own SOC (Security Operation Center)
client company. Using cyber intelligence and machine learning technology, the TDS complex detects all forms of malicious code that is spreading or already running on the network
companies.

GC MONT started its operations in 1991. Currently, the distributor affiliate network has more than 5,000 participants.
