MSI has announced the MAG A520M Bazooka WiFi and MAG B550M Vector WiFi motherboards for relatively inexpensive gaming computers.
Both new items are made in the Micro-ATX form factor. In the first case, the AMD A520 system logic set is involved, in the second – AMD B550. The Ryzen 5000 and 3000 series Socket AM4 processors can be installed.
MAG A520M Bazooka WiFi is equipped with four DDR4-4400 + memory slots, one PCIe 3.0 x16 and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, four SATA 3.0 ports and an M.2 connector for a SATA / PCIe 3.0 x4 solid state module.
The MAG B550M Vector WiFi board has two connectors for DDR4-4600 + RAM modules. There is a PCIe 4.0 / 3.0 x16 slot for a video card, two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, four SATA 3.0 ports and an M.2 connector with the ability to install a PCIe 4.0 / 3.0 x4 solid-state drive.
Both boards carry adapters for wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 4.2, a Realtek RTL8111H network controller and a 7.1 audio codec. The interface block contains a PS / 2 keyboard / mouse jack, a network cable connector, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, audio jacks, and connectors for a Wi-Fi antenna.
