MSI has announced the Optix G242P e-sports monitor, built on a 23.8-inch IPS matrix with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), brightness 250 cd / m22 and a contrast ratio of 1000: 1.
The novelty is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync technology, designed to improve the smoothness of the gameplay. The Night Vision function helps improve the visibility of dark areas of the image, which allows you to gain an advantage over rivals in the virtual space.
The panel has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. It claims 94.6 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 127.7 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees. Dynamic contrast ratio – 100,000,000: 1.
There are two HDMI 1.4 interfaces and one Display Port 1.2a connector, as well as a standard 3.5mm audio jack. The display is framed by narrow frames on three sides – at the top and in the sides.
The stand provides a full range of adjustments: changing the height, tilt and rotation angles, converting from landscape to portrait. Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light help reduce eye strain during hours of battle.
The price of the MSI Optix G242P has not yet been announced.
