At the moment, the companies are at the stage of negotiations. The final amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, however, according to the source, it could amount to 1.8 MTT’s annual revenue.

As reported by Vedomosti, MTS is going to buy Interregional TransitTelecom (MTT) –
a diversified holding company that provides communication and IT services to both corporate clients and other operators. Recall that earlier MTT belonged to the structure of the former Minister of Communications of the Russian Federation Leonid Reiman –
Fund “Alternative Capital”, and was redeemed in 2019 by the company’s managers. Thus, now the holding belongs to General Director Evgeny Vasiliev, as well as his deputies Marat Bilyaletdinov,
Denis Shirokiy and Andrey Azhigirov.

At the end of 2019, MTT’s net debt amounted to 3.3 billion rubles, and revenue – 7.5 billion rubles. In 2020, the company sold its last broadband asset, keeping
structures that develop intelligent platforms for interaction between customers and clients, as well as provide virtual PBX services, create platforms for virtual operators that connect
organizations numbers “8-800”, etc. The holding’s clients are mainly retailers, insurance companies, banks, etc.
