Conceptual images of two Samsung smartphones with flexible displays have been published on the Internet: renders provided by Pigtou and xleaks are based on publicly available patent documents.
Both devices are equipped with a dual fold display. One of the devices is proposed to be equipped with a flexible screen with a large central section and side parts that are half the size.
As you can see in the illustrations, when folded, the side sections will completely cover the center section. In this case, an auxiliary display will be located on the outside of the case.
The second option is a Z-shaped form factor with a single flexible display with three equal sized parts. When folded, one of these sections will be outside.
Judging by the renders, both smartphones will be equipped with a quadruple main camera. The front camera will be located in a small hole in the flexible display area.
According to rumors, one of the described design options will form the basis of the commercial device Galaxy Z Fold 3, the announcement of which is expected in the coming year. However, Samsung does not confirm this information.
