Nintendo Launches Third-Party Switch Games Tonight

Nintendo on my microblog unexpectedly announced the first of its kind, the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, where it will talk about upcoming third-party projects for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase starts today, July 20th. The broadcast will begin at 17:00 Moscow time. The timing of the upcoming online presentation will be about 10 minutes.

You should not count on the presentation of new projects. Nintendo has warned that the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase will be dedicated to “Previously announced Nintendo Switch games”

At the moment, the release on the hybrid console Nintendo is waiting for several prominent projects at once, in particular, the role-playing detective Disco Elysium and the first-person shooter DOOM Eternal.

The Switch version of Disco Elysium was mentioned in the April interview, while the port of DOOM Eternal to the Nintendo console was officially announced. At the same time, Bethesda Softworks “Will tell about the premiere date pretty soon”

In the meantime, fans await Nintendo’s announcement of plans for the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario series. The company is rumored to be celebrating the anniversary with several major releases.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Japanese platform owner had to abandon the traditional June release of Nintendo Direct, which featured some of the publisher’s most high-profile announcements in a year.
