In the database of the German division of the American retailer Arrow Electronics discovered AMD’s unannounced Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600XT processors. The available suffixes in the model markings (OPN) indicate that only the Ryzen 5 3600XT chip will be bundled with AMD’s base air cooling system.
Although OPN markings are becoming more complex with each generation of processors, they still contain a lot of useful information. For example, in the case of the Ryzen 9 3900XT and Ryzen 7 3800XT processors, built on the basis of the Zen 2 architecture, the marking is as follows: 100-100000277WOF and 100-100000279WOF, respectively. The suffix “WOF” in this case stands for “without a fan” or “without a fan”, if translated into Russian. In other words, this suggests that the processor model does not come with a base cooler from the manufacturer.
In turn, the Ryzen 5 3600XT processor model seems to receive the Wraith Spire cooling system, which is also included in the package of the usual AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. This information is indirectly confirmed by an earlier leak from the British and Italian Amazon.
As for the current Ryzen 9 3900X and Ryzen 7 3800X models, the Wraith Prism fan with RGB backlighting is supplied with them. The latter obviously does not add efficiency, but it looks spectacular. In general, this cooler of stars from the sky is not enough, but it copes with its task of cooling the Zen 2 processors and keeping their temperature in the operating ranges in most situations.
If you rely on early rumors and leaks of synthetic test results, the Ryzen 3000XT series processors will be able to offer higher clock speeds between 200-300 MHz compared to the Ryzen 3000X models released a year ago. But it is not yet known how else they differ from their predecessors. It is possible that we will know this tomorrow, when they are officially announced. Of course, if you believe the information of the Italian Amazon on the date of the announcement.
