Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sumo Digital have announced that Sackboy A Big Adventure will feature online multiplayer before the end of the year. It will be added as a free update.
“We made the difficult decision to postpone full online multiplayer functionality in Sackboy A Big Adventure.– said the design director of Sumo Digital Ned Waterhouse (Ned Waterhouse). – The team is working hard to make online play as comfortable as possible, and we just need a little more time to get it right. This way you can fully enjoy the game with friends and family. “…
The online multiplayer update will include multiplayer between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners, as well as transferring game saves from PS4 to PS5. On launch day, Sackboy A Big Adventure will only support local co-op for four users.
On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Sackboy A Big Adventure will go on sale November 12 and November 19, respectively.
