The ambitious action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will offer players free DLC when it finally releases. In a cheeky tweet, developer CD Projekt Red confirmed this when asked if Cyberpunk 2077 will offer free DLCs in the spirit of its big brother, The Witcher 3.
The answer turned out to be very bright – he literally crashed through the wall with the words “Oooh yeah!”:

If the game does follow in the footsteps of The Witcher 3 DLC, it simply means that there will be tons of free add-ons along with massive paid content – not all DLC will be free. But judging from the comments on this tweet, it looks like many fans were quite happy to confirm this information first-hand.
There are still a few months left before Cyberpunk 2077 is ready to break out of the cocoon of years of development, but CD Projekt has long been diligently winding up the hype around its vision of a neon future. For example, the developers recently shared details about various types of weapons and three versions of the backstory of the protagonist.
Cyberpunk 2077’s single player campaign is expected to launch on November 19 this year on PC, PS4, Xbox One and GeForce Now. In the future, the release is promised for next generation consoles. We’ll hear a lot of news about the game in the coming weeks and months.
