OPPO today officially announced the mid-range Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G high-performance smartphones supporting fifth generation mobile networks. In addition, it was announced that another member of the family, Reno5 Pro + 5G, will debut on December 24.
The Reno5 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD + flat screen with 2400 × 1080 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and a 4300 mAh battery with support for fast 65-watt Super Flash Charge (SuperVOOC 2.0) is responsible for power.
The Reno5 Pro 5G version features a 6.55-inch 90Hz Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) display that folds into the sides of the case. The chip is MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, while the battery capacity with 65-watt recharge is 4350 mAh.
New items have the same camera system. A 32-megapixel selfie module is installed in a small hole in the screen. At the back is a quad camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor (f / 1.7), an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics (119 degrees) and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors.
Other equipment of the devices includes a fingerprint scanner in the display area, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5 adapters, a USB Type-C port. The operating system is ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
Smartphones will be available on December 18 in versions with 8 and 12 GB of RAM, equipped with a flash drive with a capacity of 128 and 256 GB, respectively. The price of Reno5 5G in these versions will be $ 410 and $ 460, Reno5 Pro 5G – $ 520 and $ 580.
