Today, just months after the release of OPPO F15 in January, the OPPO F17 smartphone and its Pro version were unveiled. The new devices boast bodies that are less than 7.5mm thick and weigh less than 160 grams, making them the thinnest smartphones in 2020.

OPPO F17 is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, made according to the 8nm process technology. In the basic configuration, the smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. A configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will also be available. As for the OPPO F17 Pro, its “heart” is the MediaTek Helio P95, whose graphics chip is optimized for rendering without lag or with minimal lag, as well as for working with HDR images. The chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 128 GB storage. Both devices run Android 10 with Color OS 7.2 proprietary shell.

The main camera OPPO F17 Pro consists of four sensors, the main one of which has a resolution of 48 megapixels and is supplemented by one 8-megapixel and two 2-megapixel sensors. The camera of the basic version of the smartphone differs only in that instead of a 48-megapixel sensor, a simpler 16-megapixel sensor is used. Both devices offer a variety of photography opportunities thanks to the functions of artificial intelligence.
