PC Gamer has announced that the annual PC Gaming Show will take place this year on June 13th. The show will be part of a dual-headline digital event and will be held as part of the Future Games Show.
The PC Gaming Show is the largest PC gaming event, attracting 5.9 million viewers across platforms in 2020. The show is a stage for showcasing large and small projects.
The first PC Gaming Show was held in 2015 and was organized with the aim of bringing disparate game developers and hardware manufacturers together. The show featured projects such as Valheim, XCOM 2, Borderlands 3, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, Warframe and Baldur’s Gate 3. Past broadcasts have featured Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Oculus, Activision Blizzard and legendary designers games like Warren Spector.
The Future Games Show is a digital gaming show that debuted in June 2020 and was hosted by Uncharted stars Nolan North and Emily Rose. This was followed by the Future Games Show Gamescom in August 2020 and the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase in March 2021. The list of games featured on the Future Games Show includes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Back 4 Blood, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Sifu, and Bright Memory: Infinite. The show has garnered over 45 million views at all events, working with over 40 publishers including Sony Interactive Entertainment, Warner Bros. Games, Ubisoft, Team17 and many more.
In the same period – June 12-15 – Electronic Entertainment Expo 2021 (E3) will be held online.
